The ultimate journal club. So much more than just the discussion of one article and its strengths and weaknesses.

Our focus is on reviewing evidence relating to conditions and practice and using the workshops as a platform to discuss this evidence and find practical ways to use this evidence to tailor treatment and make rehabilitation more effective within the scope of the unique South African health care setting. We are passionate about teaching clinicians how to read and interpret the literature and hopefully get them interested and excited about accessing research independently.

These are 3 hour workshops presented monthly by various people reviewing the evidence related to a particular topic.

Coffee Club is hosted completely online and as such is accessible to all Health Care Professionals nationally and internationally.

After purchase, you will have direct access to your course on your My Course Profile on the website.

Coffee Club Consists of:
1.A 2-hour video presentation which will be made available for viewing at least two weeks before the scheduled Live Online Q&A session.
2. A1-hour live webinar session will be held as scheduled. During this time a case study will be presented by the course presenter. Participants will also be able to ask the presenter questions and share clinical experience. If you are unable to attend this live session, you will be able to send your questions to us to ask the speaker for you, and you will be able to access the recording after the course.

Online CPD questionnaires (15 MCQs) will be provided to test knowledge and ensure the content has been watched so that CEU points can be awarded. If you achieve a score of 70% or more, you will be able to download your CPD certificate immediately or store it on your My Course Profile.

Your registration fee entitles you to access an additional online journal article activity on the topic. Participants may choose to read the article and complete the CPD questionnaire to obtain a further 3 CEUs. The idea behind this is that we will discuss how to read and interpret the literature during the workshop. This then becomes an opportunity for clinicians to read the literature themselves to internalise these skills.
