This month’s topic is RETURN TO WORK INTERVENTIONS.

Exploring work interventions including, but not limited to, return to work programmes, work conditioning and hardening, transitional work programmes.

The OT Link is proud to bring you FCE Think Tank, a discussion group chaired by Robyn Hunter and presented by guest speakers.

This month we welcome:

Herculene van Staden

She completed a Social Work degree at Stellenbosch University in 1977 and then completed a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from Stellenbosch University in 1981. In 2010 Herculene completed a Masters in Occupational therapy in Vocational Rehabilitation at Stellenbosch University. She is currently Executive Board member of INSTOPP. Herculene’s vast work experience includes work in the physical field focusing on adult rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation. She has established several multidisciplinary functional assessment and rehabilitation units. The Work Rehab units focus on rehabilitation and work hardening/conditioning in terms of return to work, including, case management, ergonomic assessments to recommend job modifications, and job analysis as well as medico- legal and Insurance assessments.
