The OT Link is proud to bring you FCE Think Tank, a discussion group chaired by Robyn Hunter and presented by guest speakers.

This month we welcome:

Dr. Lee Randall

She completed a BSc Occupational Therapy from Wits in 1986 and then a Master of Arts at the Boston School of OT at Tufts University (USA) in 1990. She went on to do the post graduate diploma in vocational rehabilitation at Pretoria University in 2000 and in 2019 she obtained a PhD in Bioethics & Health Law from Wits. She was involved in post-doctoral research at Wits from 2020 to 2023, focusing on active travel and road safety from a public health perspective.

She has significant experience in the health and disability sector, particularly in vocational rehabilitation, disability claims assessment, mental health and medicolegal evaluation. She provides consultancy and training services on disability equity in the workplace and authored sections on this topic for the Labour Law for Managers Handbook and Practical Guide to Human Resources Management. She is the author of a chapter titled ‘Psychiatric OT in the corporate, insurance and medicolegal sectors’ in the 4th, 5th and upcoming 6th edition of Crouch & Alers’ ‘Occupational Therapy in Psychiatry and Mental Health’.
