This month we welcome:

Suzanne Harmse [OT (UP), M. OT (UP), Occupational Therapy Doctorate (Boston University)]

Suzanne completed a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy in 2013 from the University of Pretoria. She completed her master’s degree in 2018, with a focus on the use of MODAPTS as an assessment tool used in work evaluations. She completed her doctorate through Boston University in 2024. Suzanne has extensive experience in vocational rehabilitation and started her own practice in 2018, providing intervention to patients of all ages and with a variety of conditions including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and mental health conditions. She started working as a part-time lecturer at the University of Pretoria for undergraduate and post-graduate occupational therapy students. HARMSE WORK SAMPLES are work samples that Suzanne has developed in her career, which have now been moderated by a working group of occupational therapists, as well as an industrial engineer with extensive experience in MODAPTS.
