Summary of the article
Occupational therapists delivering vocational rehabilitation (VR) services at a grassroots level in South Africa often lack the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for effective practice. The absence of defined procedures and protocols further limits VR services. To address these barriers, three tools have been developed to support evidence-based, context-specific clinical reasoning: the Return-to-Work Decision Tree, the Performance-Based Assessment Tool, and the Job Match Tool. This study aimed to establish consensus on the acceptability and utility of these tools in facilitating occupational therapists’ clinical reasoning during VR assessment and intervention.

A well structured and well researched study ,valuable for everyday work in the community and regaining skillfull assessments of reusable tools ,making adaptions and recommendations for future use of these tools adding manuals and workshops to improve knowledge, skill and clinical rasoning.Well done and thank you..All the best for the future
