Summary of the article:

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is one of the most concerning problems due to its association with decreased productivity and permanent disability. A qualitative research design was used to determine occupational therapists’ experiences in formulating return to work decisions with patients with MDD. Occupational therapists need sound knowledge, skills and experience and ability to collaborate with employees and employers in deciding on return to work.
