About the Presenter


The OT Link welcomes Janine Schoeman [BSc (OT)] and Megan Townshend [BSc(OT)] to present Coffee Club.

Janine is a passionate and dynamic Occupational Therapist and earned the OTASA Award: Occupational Therapist of the Year, 2011.   She has 15 years of clinical experience largely in the fields of psychiatry, medico-legal, insurance and vocational rehabilitation in the government and private practice settings. She has also worked as a clinical student supervisor for the University of the Witwatersrand and authored two publications. She is Workwell and Valpar certified.

Megan has a wealth of clinical experience in South Africa and the UK. She has worked in the hospital and private health care settings in neurological rehabilitation, medico-legal, insurance and vocational rehabilitation fields. She runs a successful Medico-legal Practice together with Janine in Randburg. She is Workwell certified. Megan is passionate about Mental Health in the Workplace and the role that OTs can play in supporting employers and employees.
