Summary of the article:

Psychological and emotional sequalae following stroke are common. This article investigated the effectiveness of different occupational therapy interventions to treat these issues. Six types of interventions were identified and their efficacy according to research was discussed: exercise or movement based, behavioural therapy and stroke education, behavioural therapy only, stroke education only, care support and coordination, and community based interventions.
