Summary of the article:

This code is to address the most prevalent ethical concerns of the occupational therapy profession. It sets out the core values, principles that guide ethical decision making and Standards of Conduct that the public can expect from occupational therapists. It provides lengthily standards of conduct (how professionals should ethically behave) in various aspects of professional practice.

Objectives of this course:

On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:

  3. Discuss the principles that guide ethical decision making.
  4. Be able to identify the ethical principles that are applicable to the Standards of Conduct for Occupational Therapy personnel.
