Hand Injuries in the context of Functional Capacity Evaluations
The OT Link is excited to welcome Kathy Wundram to present Coffee Club.
Kathy (BSc (Medical Sciences); B Sc (OT) has extensive clinical experience in the public and private health care settings focusing on adult physical rehabilitation, hands and functional capacity evaluations. She has also worked as a lecturer at WITS and is currently studying towards a Post Graduate diploma in Education. She is passionate about excellence in healthcare; training and teaching; project management; service management and quality assurance.
This Workshop will review:
- Anatomical and structural considerations in hand assessment
- Common hand injuries resulting from road accidents (presentation, functional prognosis, and management recommendations)
- Connecting assessment findings to functional capacity
- Reporting on hand injuries in the medicolegal context
