This session is all about YOU. Your clinical practice, your experiences as an OT this year and your OT aspirations for the future.
This session will run a little differently from the others.
The first part of this session is loaded as a recorded presentation and should be watched before the live session. This presentation will cover:
Exploring off road: venturing outside conventional roles to take OT new places:
- The big picture: mapping the broader potential of OT across sectors and borders
- Core skills for “off-road” OT’s: skills/knowledge translation, network-building, funding models, partnerships
- Professional practice & ethics: handling roles, scope, representation, remuneration
- Where to start: some career-building practices
The second part will be focused on your questions and arising discussion during the live session on 25 October. You are very welcome to email us any questions you have ahead of time too so we can be sure to include them during this presentation time.

The LIVE component of the session will run on Wednesday 25 October, from 19.30 – 20.30.
After the session, you will be granted access to the course evaluation on this page. Kindly fill in the course evaluation so that we can monitor the quality of this CPD activity. This is an HPCSA requirement.
Once you have completed the evaluation and marked all tasks complete, you will be able to access your CEU certificate on your My Courses Profile. The OT Link will also submit a copy of the attendance register to the HPCSA.
