Objectives of this course

On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the importance and relevance of resilience science.
  • Discuss the changes that have occurred in resilience science over the years.
  • Define resilience from a dynamic systems perspective to support scalability and portability across multiple disciplines and levels of analysis.
  • Discuss the models and methods that have been used in developmental resilience research.
  • Discuss the factors and processes that research has found to influence resilience.
  • Describe the concept, as well as the implications for practice, of multisystem developmental perspectives to resilience.
