Objectives of this course

On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe Mirror Therapy as it applies to stroke rehabilitation and differentiate it from Graded Motor Imagery.
  2. Discuss the evidence base for mirror therapy on outcomes following stroke including: motor function; ADL, pain and visuospatial neglect.
  3. Discuss how to implement this intervention into a therapy and home programme including dosage/frequency of treatment.
