Summary of the article:
This article explored the differences in patient’s with moderate to severe burns who received conventional care versus those patients who received conventional care as well as rehabilitation. The outcomes measured included self care performance, quality of life, pain and itchiness, quality of sleep and mental health. The group that received rehabilitation showed significant improvement in self care performance, quality of life, pain and mental health whereas the group that received only conventional care only showed improvement in self care performance.
