Objectives of this course

On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the prevalence and common clinical presentation of people living with stroke.
  • Describe the goal and implementation of constraint-induced movement therapy for stroke patients.
  • Compare the efficacy of constraint-induced movement therapy with traditional rehabilitation therapy for stroke patients.
  • Describe the efficacy of constraint-induced movement therapy in terms of different post-stroke durations and constraint times.
  • Describe the proposed protocol, in terms of timing and dose, for constraint-induced movement therapy for stroke patients.
