Interesting Article

Was a good reminder of a framework to consider when addressing sexuality with patients. Also appreciating the role of OT in allowing this topic to be explored with our patients.

Sexuality is an important factor to talk about with patients with disability

The article provided a good overview of the challenges of sexuality with people with disabilities or mental health issues. We need to become more aware of the occupation of sexuality and its importance as a meaningful activity in doing, being, and becoming a sexual being.
