Welcome to the APOM Online Training.
This Workshop is set up as three sessions. Each session has its own learning outcomes and associated tasks.
Your tutor will receive automatic notifications each time you submit your assignments. Tutors run this course in addition to being employed full-time. They will do their best to give you feedback within about 4-5 working days from submission. Please build this turnaround time into your planning for your progress through this course.
Please follow each lesson in order and “mark each step complete” as you progress.
The required resources are available under the “materials” tab of each session.
Once you have completed the course – please ensure all steps below have a green complete tick visible. Your certificates should then be available to download and or print.
According to the new HPCSA requirements – we will submit your course attendance information directly to HPCSA. You no longer need to do this. We do just recommend that you keep a copy of your certificate for your own records. Your course completion certificates will be stored on your profile indefinitely to ensure you still have a record of your CPD activities should you encounter any problems.
You have 6 months to complete this course from point of purchase. Please be sure to complete all tasks and download your manual by this date at the latest!

I really enjoyed the platform, I found the portal user friendly and very easy to use. I liked the size of the font and layout of the quizzes. I like how the course is live with marked assessment and feedback. It has very easy access and smooth running. I feel I really understand how to use the spreadsheet and I am really looking forward to adopting this as an outcome measure in my service.

I found the online method a bit harder than it might have been in person. I am more practical than theoretical. I would have liked to see the client and have more discussions around the interpretation. But I was able to talk to the presenter as needed and she provided great support in our discussions. I really enjoyed the content.
