Grab yourself a cuppa and join Helen Roome and The OT Link for online Coffee Club.
Follow the links provided to watch the video presentation. You can watch it in parts or all at once, but you will need to complete the viewing of the video on the website before you can complete the quiz. You need to achieve 70% or more for the quiz. You only have three attempts at the quiz, so be sure to check your answers.
The recorded Zoom session can then be watched. If you have any comments or questions, add them via the “Leave a Reply” function at the bottom on the screen.
On completion of the course and quiz, kindly fill in the course evaluation so that we can monitor the quality of this CPD activity. This is an HCPSA requirement.
As part of the Coffee Club Experience, we are offering a bonus online article activity included in your registration fee. Find the coupon code listed in the course list below. Then browse Couch Club Articles and select one of your choice, add it to your basket, add the coupon code and checkout. You will then be able to access this course on your My Course Profile. You will be able to earn a further 3 CEUs for this activity.
Once you have completed the evaluation and marked all tasks complete, you will be able to access your CEU certificate on your My Courses Profile.
According to the new HPCSA requirements – we will submit your course attendance information directly to HPCSA. You no longer need to do this. We do just recommend that you keep a copy of your certificate for your own records. Your course completion certificates will be stored on your profile indefinitely to ensure you still have a record of your CPD activities should you encounter any problems.
Please also ensure that your HPCSA number is correctly entered in your “My Account” details, with no spaces between digits. Incorrect HPCSA numbers will not upload to their system and you will need to submit your certificates manually.
You have until the 31st of December 2023 to complete this course.
We hope you enjoy this online course!
Hearing from an actual patient (person in pain) has made the message come across louder than the medical jargon in all the articles! I wish all HPC’s who ever attempt to treat pain, should be clearly aware of how limited the biomedical approach can be when embarking on that journey.
